A little clarity before your first visit.
Finding the right preschool starts with good questions. Here are a few answers to help you get to know ABC Time.
What ages does ABC Time serve?
Our year-round preschool is designed for children ages 2½–5. We do not offer infant care. Our summer program has traditionally served ages 3–5; ask about the next session.
How small is the group?
ABC Time is intentionally small, with a group of 6–8 preschoolers. Please ask Miss Felicia about current enrollment and available days.
Is this a preschool in a home setting?
Yes. We combine a preschool curriculum with the familiarity of a home environment. Our day includes individual learning, circle time, art, outdoor play, music, science, and time to build friendships.
What are the preschool hours?
Our regular preschool day is Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–1:15 PM. Later pickup up to 3:30 PM is available for an additional charge; please call to discuss arrangements.
Can my child attend part time?
Yes. Published tuition includes one-, two-, three-, four-, and five-day weekly schedules. Availability depends on current enrollment. See Tuition & Schedule for rates.
Does the program run year-round?
Yes, with holiday closures and two weeks each for summer and winter break. Families receive a yearly calendar. Please ask for the current calendar when considering enrollment.
How do you prepare children for kindergarten?
Our kindergarten readiness approach builds early literacy, math, fine-motor skills, and scientific thinking alongside listening, turn-taking, friendships, independence, and confidence. Individual learning time helps us respond to each child’s ability and interests.
Why don’t you show photos of children?
We respect the privacy and safety of the children in our care and do not use their photographs for public marketing. Our gallery shows the actual learning spaces and projects. A tour is the best way to experience the preschool.
Do children need to be toilet trained?
Please discuss your child’s stage of toilet learning directly with Miss Felicia so she can explain current enrollment requirements and determine whether the program is a good fit.
How do I arrange a tour or ask about a place?
Call (760) 994-0165 or email abctimepreschool@gmail.com. Our phone cannot receive texts. Use the tour inquiry page to send your preferred schedule and questions.
What if the days we need are full?
Ask Miss Felicia about upcoming availability and whether your family can be added to a waitlist. A tour inquiry or email is not an enrollment reservation.
Are meals and snacks included?
The preschool website describes healthy snacks and fruit. Please ask Miss Felicia about current lunch arrangements, the snack menu, and any food allergies before enrolling. Summer campers bring lunch.
