ART, SCIENCE & DISCOVERY
Messy ideas. Meaningful discoveries.
A brushstroke, a question, a surprising result. At ABC Time, children learn by exploring what materials and ideas can do—making choices, testing possibilities, and talking about what they notice along the way.
The process is
the important part.
We value process art alongside guided craft experiences. Children are encouraged to choose colors, combine materials, experiment with tools, and make something that reflects their own ideas rather than simply copying a finished example.
Scissors, glue bottles, spray bottles, paintbrushes, play dough, kinetic sand, blocks, and other hands-on materials strengthen the small muscles children use for drawing, dressing, manipulating tools, and eventually writing. We introduce writing naturally as fine-motor control, confidence, and interest develop.
The goal is exploration, self-expression, and growth—not a row of identical finished projects.

Illustrative learning materials; not a photograph of the preschool.
Science starts
with wondering.
Science is part of our daily curriculum. Children’s questions become starting points for observing, predicting, comparing, measuring, and experimenting with the natural world in ways that make sense to preschoolers.
01
Notice & ask
Children practice looking closely, describing what they see, asking questions, and making simple predictions about what might happen next.
02
Try & discover
Hands-on experiments and sensory experiences let children test an idea, watch what changes, and try again. The focus is on participating in the discovery process, not memorizing a science answer.
03
Connect & explain
Talking about discoveries builds vocabulary and helps children explain their thinking. Counting, measuring, comparing, sorting, and noticing patterns bring early math into a practical setting and support kindergarten readiness.

IDEAS TAKE SHAPE
Build it.
Try it. Talk about it.
From constructing a classroom robot to dinosaur experiments, building projects, sensory mixtures, and colorful science activities, children get repeated chances to plan, test, revise, describe, and solve small problems together.
Our curriculum also includes age-appropriate sensory and science experiences such as oobleck, Gak, color mixing, and simple cause-and-effect experiments. These activities invite children to get involved, make observations, and talk about what they think is happening.
A LITTLE SCHOOL. A BIG BEGINNING.
Come see where their
curiosity can take them.
Meet Miss Felicia, explore the learning spaces, and talk about what makes your child unique.
